Her sire, Onyx Grey Navigator, has Accoyo lines with color, awesome type and Navigator really hits the mark. His pedigree is impeccable with top producing Accoyos that throw color combined with top producing greys and blacks on both sides of his pedigree. He is stylish stud with solid boned and has fiber with extreme density, fineness and a well defined, high frequency crimp not normally seen in greys. Navigator's crimp extends throughtout his blanket, neck, legs and into his topknot. He is a multi color champion and producing color champions.
On her dam's side she gain the elite genetics and fiber traits of Snowmass Alpacas with Snowmass Moonflower who is out of the famed Peruvian Chaccu.
We are very impressed, but certainly not surprised by Capri's outstanding conformation & phenotype. Then there is the fleece... which quite literally possesses all the traits we desire & this is just her cria fleece! Her fleece displays impressive density & staple length, with a buttery soft handle. The character to her fleece is stunning, with excellent uniformity throughout and very fine. |
